The Overdraft function is a special feature of the iikoCard5 system. It can be useful when there is no Internet connection and, so, no connection to the main iikoCard5 server.
Overdraft is a maximum amount that a guest can spend while connection to the main iikoCard5 server is not available.
The overdraft amount can be used only within 24 hours. If, during this period of time, connection to the main server has not been restored, payment based on the corporate program will not be possible after 24 hours. It makes sense to use the overdraft function with respect to a program under which daily limits for card payment amounts are set.
Overdraft terms can be set within the offer on the same-name tab and available in all the programs implicating account payments: bonus, food and monetary.
The Overdraft action is used make the necessary settings.
In the settings, you can:
- Allow overdraft and set the maximum possible amount. As a result, when the specified amount is reached, further payment using the account will become impossible.
- Allow overdraft without any limitations. In this case, the amount that can be spent is not limited but there is a risk that the negative balance amount may be very high.
If the Overdraft tab has no settings configured, it means that it is not authorized for the special and, if the connection to the main server is lost, one cannot use this account.
