Kitchen Screen

To inform a kitchen about orders, you can use a special iikoSousChef kitchen terminal instead of (or with it) usual service printer. This terminal allows a chef to see which dishes they must start to cook immediately, which dishes are included in the same order and should be served at the same time. It also shows which dishes have been removed from the order, and the stages for cooking dishes in various production sections. When a dish is ready, a chef specifies this on the screen. This will display a message on a waiter's terminal that the dish can be taken. It is possible to manage statuses of all the dishes to be served. To switch to such a mode, select | Kitchen Screen.

The kitchen screen can be managed using keyboard, and the display can be installed in any place convenient for a chef, e.g. mounted on the wall. There is a set of shortcut keys to be used on a keyboard. They help to switch between iikoSousChef screens, select the necessary plate service and manage its status, set the view mode and filters by production sections (See iikoSousChef shortcut keys list).
