Moving the Order

Moving some guests to another table served by the same waiter

If some of your guests want to move to another table, which may have already been occupied, you must divide the order into two parts and move one of them to another table.

For this:

  1. Go to the order taking window and select the dishes that you want to transfer.
  2. If you want to select all the dishes of one guest, click the left-hand side of the line with their identifier (e.g. Guest 1). The same way, select the dishes of guests who want to move to another table.

    If when creating the order you did not split the dishes by guests, you can simply select the dishes that you need to transfer to another part of the order. For this, click the quantity buttons to the left of a dish name. The buttons will turn blue.

  3. Click | Change Table No.
  4. Select another table.

The order will be split into two parts. The selected dishes will be transferred to a separate order with a new table number, the rest will remain in the order with the previous table number. In this case, both orders will be bound to the same waiter.

Moving an order or part of it to another table served by another waiter

In this case you have to consistently change the table number and the waiter number. For this:

  1. Go to the order taking window and select the dishes that you want to transfer. If you want to transfer the entire order, then you do not have to select the dishes.
  2. To select dishes, click the buttons showing the quantities to the left of their names. If you want to select all the dishes of one guest, click the left-hand side of the line with their identifier (e.g. Guest 2).

  3. Click | Change Table No.
  4. Specify another table number and click OK. You can select the table on the floor plan, to which your guests want to move. For this, click Floor Plan and then tap on another table.
  5. Press waiter replacement shortcut located in the order title.
  6. In the new window, select your colleague's last name. For a quick search, enter the last name in the field above the list.
  7. Confirm the transfer operation by swiping a manager's card.
  8. Click Close.

If the order has any printed items or a printed guest bill, you will have to swipe the card of an employee with the Change the table No. with printed items (F_CMP) right.

The selected dishes will be transferred to another table and put into a separate order of your colleague. Unselected dishes will remain attached to the same table in your order.

Transfer an entire order to another waiter

You may transfer an open order to another waiter, for instance, if your shift has ended. For this:

  1. Open the order window and press waiter change shortcut.

  2. In the new window, select required last name. For a quick search, enter the last name in the field above the list. The list shows only the employees who has clocked in and are vested with the Open orders as a waiter (F_CHO) right.
  3. Confirm the transfer operation by swiping a manager's card.

The transfer operation can be confirmed by the manager with the Authorize order transfer to another waiter (F_COW) right.

The order will be fully transferred to another waiter only if no dish has been selected or all the dishes have been selected. In this case, the order will remain attached to the same table.

Transfering a part of an order to a different waiter

If one more waiter is required to serve a specific table, then you must transfer a part of the order to a separate order of your colleague. To split an order between waiters, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the order taking window and select the dishes that you want to transfer.
  2. To select the dishes, click the buttons showing the quantities to the left of their names. The buttons will turn blue. If you want to select all the dishes of one guest, click the left-hand side of the line with their identifier (e.g. Guest 2).

  3. Press waiter replacement shortcut located in the order title.
  4. In the new window, select the required last name. For a quick search, enter the last name in the field above the list.
  5. Confirm the transfer operation by swiping a manager's card.  

The selected dishes will be transferred to a separate order of your colleague, the rest will remain in your order. And both orders will be bound to the same table. If necessary, you can transfer the orders to another table.

Moving guests to another table served by the same waiter

If your guests want to move to a free table by the window, then you have to transfer their order to that table. For this, in the order taking window click | Change table No.


Specify another table number, click OK and Close.

Select the table on the floor plan, to which your guests want to move. For this, click Floor Plan, then click another table and then Close.

If the order has any printed items or a printed guest bill, you will have to swipe the card of an employee with the Change the table No. with printed items (F_CMP) right.

After you have selected the table, return to your order: as you can see, the table number has changed and the order has been transferred.

The order will be fully transferred to another table only if no dish has been selected or all the dishes of the order have been selected. In this case, the order will remain with the same waiter.
